Hello! My name is Elana Lederman. I'm an experienced freelance Houdini FX artist based in New York whose career has spanned film, television, and commercials. My film credits includes Elemental, Encanto, Frozen 2, The Greatest Showman, and Hereditary and I've worked on numerous television productions including Cars on the Road, Power, Blindspot, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. My commercial work includes ads for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, Sour Patch Kids, McDonald's, and Mountain Dew Ice.

Outside of my VFX work, I also write and direct for live-action and animation. I'm also very passionate about fine arts and photography, both above the ground and under the sea! In my spare time, I enjoy sculpting, sewing, knitting, writing, reading, and traveling the globe.

I am a graduate of the School of Visual Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 3D Animation and Visual Effects, and I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
